These sites offer fundamental information about companies and
their stocks that can help with basic company research, such
as screening. Look at the page with links about mutual funds for

- Daiwa Securities Group offers summaries of yearly and interim
financial reports from publicly held Japanese companies (at least they
tell me they do; personally I cannot read the page).

- Nikko Securities provides detailed summaries of the financial and
operating prospects of hundreds of Japanese firms.

database. Some brokerage firm research reports, free registration is
